In case there's anyone left who has not played Wild Arms, a spoiler cut.

Holy shit, Gate Generator. Holy fucking shit. RUDY BLOWING HIS FUCKING ARM OFF > cutting it off with a sword, which makes no sense for him to have if he's got enough heavy artillery to take out any one of the cities on Filgaia. And Zed! Zed Zed Zed Zed Zed! ZED! WIND MOUSE TO THE FACE! A password that's "Password"! Bwahaha! =D

And holy crap, the aftermath is slashtastic. I might vaguely ship Rudy/Jack again.

Also, I was not thinking Zeik got eaten there. I was thinking more "You gon' get (tentacle) raped!" at that scene. O.o

And I'm done.

The whole thing with Zeik getting eaten in the original totally creeped me out as a teenager.

Rudy blowing his arm off needed a spray of blood and Zeik being like 'wtfhax'

I like the idea that he fights with sword and ARM both, particularly with the idea of ARMs being draining, but you're right, the Hand Cannon and its explosive rounds seem far more the right tool at a moment of desperation.

I could see him with a knife, because it'd be a useful tool for a traveler, but a sword seems to be a bit much to juggle when you've got a big heavy armament to handle.
