For scribe_protra's birthday. Sorry I couldn't come up with more, but hey, a sneak peek at something planned for the Legacy of Hope reboot with Zed is something. ^^;

The Metal Demon watched the orange-clad woman’s hips sway as she walked ahead of them. “Why on Filgaia did you walk away from that, Rudy?” he asked his blue-haired companion. “What, did she cheat on you? Try to kill you? Shoot your dog? What?” The blue-haired man ignored him. “Did she find your grandfather’s grave and dance on it? That’s what she did, right? ‘Cause that’s the only reason I could think of—“

Rudy put a hand to his forehead. “Would you please stop? It was a stupid reason and I’d rather not talk about it.” His eyes went to the swordsman. “And if you’re so interested, why don’t you ask her out, Zed?”

Zed clapped his hands together. “You really wouldn’t mind?”

The male ARM user’s shoulders sank and his eyes rolled to the sky. “Ge Ramtos, take me now,” he muttered.

“Quit your babbling and hurry up, you two! We’re almost there!” the blonde, orange-clad woman ordered. She flashed a grin at the Metal Demon. “Even though I know you appreciate the view, we do have work to do.” She laughed as the taller man turned a delicate pink.

Rudy sighed. Maybe he should have went with those young Wanderers instead. It couldn’t have been more stressful than this.
