Of perverted and hung-over hedgehogs.

Anyone remember this drabble right here from the holidays? I wrote a sequel. Warning: Amy is a pervert. Don't let the cute fool you. Also, might wanna read the original first.

Sonic realized something that New Year’s Day. He realized that waking up between his (quite naked) would-be girlfriend and a guy that’s tried to kill him on more than one occasion was actually pretty easy. Dealing with what came after? Not so much. It didn’t help that Amy was taking the whole thing far too well, and that Shadow miraculously had an appetite after all the drinking last night. The smell of the dark hedgehog’s bacon, eggs, and—of course—pancakes was doing nothing to help his already-nervous stomach.
“All right,” he finally said, “Now what happens?”
Amy looked up at him hopefully. “We do it again?”
The blue hedgehog facepalmed, then winced. Note to self: Don’t do that when your head hurts, jackass. “Amy…”
“Not without protection; I’m all out and I don’t know where he’s been,” Shadow said between bites.
Sonic’s attention was fully on him now. “Wait a minute, we…?”
Shadow shrugged. “I wasn’t completely hammered like you. And for the love of Maria, next time, don’t squirm so much.”
“Next time?!” the blue hedgehog shouted. He quickly held his head and made another mental note.
Amy clapped her hands together. “So you’re in, Shadow?”
Shadow suddenly found the ceiling fascinating and absently twirled his fork. “I haven’t disregarded the idea.” Without looking down, he stabbed at the food and quietly added, “If I can be in the middle this time.”
Sonic slowly shook his head. “You two are unbelievable, you know that? Absolutely unbelievable.”
“I was rather proud of my performance, considering the circumstances,” the dark hedgehog said with a smirk.
“Why not make the best of it, Sonic?” the girl asked. “Things you don’t expect happen; there’s no sense angsting over things you can’t change.” She grinned and added, “Besides, I had the man of my dreams and short, dark, and adorkable,”—(“Am not ‘adorkable’,” Shadow grumbled)—“That’s pretty good if you ask me.”
Sonic smiled weakly. “Yeah, I guess it doesn’t help to angst—“
“So, go again?” Amy asked brightly.
Sonic’s smiled vanished. “… yeah, leaving now. Have fun with Pancake Boy.” With that, he stalked out of the room.
The girl frowned and crossed her arms. “Spoilsport.”
