Sonic Battle ending redux.

The ending to Sonic Battle still kills me. Not because I like Emerl (although I hated him less this time around because this time he came already useful), but because of Sonic.

Right before Emerl blows up/Chaos Controls/whatever don't care, Sonic just... Hell, here's the text I yanked from a game script on GameFAQs.com:

SONIC: Quit playing around! Don't get all serious on me now, Emerl! You... You think this is goodbye or something? Hey! Come on, Emerl! Let's go play! Everyone is waiting for us back home! Tails! And even Shadow and Knuckles! Hey, I know! We can trick Knuckles into doing some stupid stuff again! We'll go home and... and... we'll all laugh and have a good time!!!! Right, Emerl...? Emerl!!!!!!!!

Frantic, sad Sonic makes Chibi wibble. And then he goes onto comfort Cream after all that! Things like that are why I <3 the goofy blue furball. ;_; *MANY, MANY HUGS*

Yes, I am a GIGANTIC SAP. Oh, Sonic. ;_;

I actually liked Emerl, but. Probably because I cracked up by making him run like Amy.

I found Emerl's a lot more fun when you're not struggling because you haven't captured anything useful yet. The first playthrough was painful for that reason. That and Rouge's chapter. Time limits why?!

Except for people who decided in a drunken fit of chutzpah to read through ASADAE immediately after watching Sonic Underground.

Now Sonic only makes me want to kill. And cry.

But not because he's sad.

The SU was on a dare. The ASADAE was because I was bored and didn't know what I was getting into.

It was a reread. The 'not knowing what I was getting into' was the mental linking of characters named Sonya and Sonia. Then it becomes evil masochistic incestuous rape!

Against rouge you can pause and quit for the challenge when you can't get hit once and it will beat it instantly.
