90's cartoon flashback time!

So, I've mentioned I've been watching SWAT Kats on Boomerang as of late, and that I had a theory. The theory, as presented in a 200-word ficlet:
* * *
Jake Clawson, a.k.a. Razor. Gunner.
Chance Furlong, a.k.a. T-Bone. Pilot.
Together, they are the SWAT Kats, and they had been right under his nose.
Cmdr. Feral stared at the screen, wishing this would go away. The markings, coloring, and statistics matched; there was no question about their identities now. It wouldn’t sting so much if he hadn’t personally kicked them out of the Enforcers, a little part of him thought.
But he did. And they were. They have freedom to move—something he doesn’t have, blast that mayor—and tech the Enforcers could only dream of. They were able to do things to help the city during a crisis he couldn’t. His first instinct was to scream. His second was to throw the monitor out the window.
Instead, he turned off the monitor and held a hand to his face. He could bring them in any time; it wasn’t like he didn’t know where they lived. Oh, how he wanted to do so. But then if something came up… “Damned if I do, damned if I don’t,” Feral muttered bitterly. “You win this time, SWAT Kats, but if you dare harm my city, you will regret it…”
* * *
Um, yeah. They'd probably keep records of past and present Enforcers, and considering what happened, they'd definitely keep theirs. And plus it'd make Feral even more bitter. Ooooh, so bitter.
And hey, it's not as far-fetched as this arguement for Feral/Ann Gora that has wedged itself in my head. Don't ask. Or do, so I may share the madness.

Feral passing up identity of Swat Kats
Date: 2005-08-31 10:48 pm (UTC)The two RObo kats (molly and whathisname) found out the Swat Kats Identites... and then they stole agiant robot (they do that often don't they?) anyways in the end feral is standing above their battered robo heads in the middle of a giant crater.
THey offer him the identites of the Swat Kats in exchange for their lives and he looks at them for a moment before blasting them to ashes.
WHen asked why he passed up the oppurtunity by the mayors assitant (damn I havet os top forgeting names) all Feral responds is "I wouldn't give them (the two robo kats) the satisfaction."
Coolest Feral moment ever in my opinion (although the one where he saves the Swat kats from Dark Kat's trap also ranks up there).
