"Yes, Jack?" Rudy asked as he polished his rocket launcher.

"You know, you carry an awful lot of big guns," Jack stated.

The boy shrugged. "I suppose so."

The swordsman raised an eyebrow. "Are you over-compensating for something?"

"You carry a long sword around. Are you over-compensating?"

Jack nudged the boy. "I asked first."

Rudy set the ARM and rag aside. "If this is your way of trying to get me to take off my pants, dirty, open-minded old man..."

"You'll never let me live that down, will you?" Jack groaned. Rudy smiled sweetly at him in response. "Thought not. But I'm just sayin', you know what they say about big guns..."

"They destroy stuff real good?" the boy suggested.

"... I'm not going to get anywhere with this, am I?" the older man asked.

Rudy set about his task once more. "Nope."

"One day, I'll expose you for the brat you are, mark my words."

"Sure, you will."

Which begs the question: if Rudy and Hikaru were in opposite sides of a crowded room, how would the crowd react? Focus on the nearest one? Go for one, then the other? Would their combined Auras of Hot Underage Milkshake cancel each other?
