I was reading a Yuffie/Vincent ship manifesto on the aptly-named ship_manifesto comm, and I realized something: the pairing is an awful lot like Amy/Shadow (very stubborn, somewhat hyper girl/OMGDARK angstmuffin with added SCIENCE!). And I used to like the idea of Yuffie/Vincent too.
