Two great tastes that taste great together?

I want to play the first Wild Arms. Again.

I also want to play Sonic Adventure 2. Again.

And because of this, I wondered, what kind of game would we get if we mixed the two. Earth Golem versus Egg Golem! Platform RPG action ala Valkyrie Profile! Rock/rap/jazz/industrial/country hybrid music! Badderass mech in the Wild West! And Shadow as a Holmcross oh wait, he already is one!

I would play that game. I'd play the hell out of that game. Sega? Media.Vision? You have to team up. NOW.

... yes, I'll get to whichever of the two I choose now...

Note to self:

If you ever feel compelled to pick up a save file you left behind last time you tried to play Wild Arms, check to make sure you reloaded Rudy's ARM before hooking up with everyone and going to Lolithia's tomb.

Additionally, remember PS2 doesn't seem to like Wild Arms and save your ass off in case it freezes. And no, grumbling about this will not make Alter Code F come out any faster. Nor does looking at the battle graphics and going, "I can't believe I spent that many hours looking at this." The sprites, however, are still damned cute.

Also, test to see if people talk to the characters differently outside of Adlehyde, Surf, and Curan Abbey. You know you want to.

And, dammit, you don't have to keep reading the books in the game. You're read them how many times by now?

And finally, stop talking to yourself. People are looking at you funny.

P.S.: Hee hee, "hooking up with everyone". Rudy/Jack/Cecilia OT3? XD

Dear BDS guy: WTF?

"BDS" meaning "Bullet Delivery Service", as in the guys in Wild Arms who will reload your ARMs for 10 Gella per bullet.

I just realized one thing that from a gaming perspective it can make sense, but makes no fricking sense when Earth Logic is applied: Why the hell can't the BDS guy sell you extra ammo? I mean, he's obviously got a lot of it sitting around, and there can't be all that many ARM users if people flip out when they see someone who can use 'em! So c'mon, sell some extras!

*sigh* Learn something new every time I play that game...
