In which I feel mischievous.
Jul. 2nd, 2005 01:15 pmBecause I need a distraction from seven straight days of work that I am in the middle of.
I wish to make a CD with the following tracks and blare it, just to make people double-take. It will start off with
1 - Gorillaz, "Feel Good Inc." because that's part of a genre that's generally blared, then boom! Into
2 - Terri Clark, "Poor, Poor Pitiful Me", because the sudden jump into country music amuses me. And then we go to
3 - Aerosmith, "Walk This Way", because it's a fricking CLASSIC. Then we jump into
4 - "Sonic Drive", the Japanese opening to Sonic X. Geek pride, yo. And then we take an abrupt turn into
5 - Lisa Loeb, "The Way It Really Is", because we've been too damned cheerful up until this point. Then we chase that with
6 - The Offspring, "Americana". Because we need angry asshole music, and it's a hilarious segueway into
7 - Lee Greenwood, "Proud to Be an American". It's a "WTF" suckerpunch and I LIKE it! XD And to top it off
8 - Vivaldi, "The Four Seasons", or at least part of it, because I rescued a CD of it from some junk CDs for crafting supplies and it's there.
... yes, I've thought about it too hard.
Also, they took out the take away Bowser's fireballs trick and "The princess is in another castle" joke in the Super Mario Brothers 3 GBA port. Tears like waterfalls, man... ;_; But the stage select thing is nifty.
