I done traumatized myself. I was thinking about Sonic Adventure 2 and convieniently forgot _juuuuuust_ long enough that Maria was Gerald Robotnik's _grand_-daughter, not daughter. That lead me to think, "Wait, there were no other children of Gerald Robotnik mentioned, then who're Eggman's parents?" Then I immediatly thought of Shadow and Maria and that they were at _least_ friends... Gah, Shadow as Eggman's dad. It's just... gah. And then I finally remember that bit about Maria being Gerald's _grandaughter_, making Eggman her cousin, but the damage had been done. The concept is now in my head, and it burninates like Trogor with a bad head cold, wherein he sneezes _FIRE_. >_o

Oh great, and now I'm picturing Sonic and Shadow discussing this, with the former teasing the latter. It's a little something like this:
